Scottish Conservative and Unionist MSP Miles Briggs has agreed to become a Hepatitis C Parliamentary Champion, committing to work with the Hepatitis C Trust and other Parliamentary Champions to make Scotland Hepatitis C free.
There will be a 'blueprint for elimination' report launched in the Scottish Parliament in January 2018, which will set out practical steps to eliminate Hepatitis C in Scotland.
Miles Briggs comments: "I am very pleased to champion the Hepatitis C Trust in the Scottish Parliament and work with them to eliminate Hepatitis C in Scotland."
