Miles Briggs MSP has started this campaign to reverse the decision by SNP Ministers not to fund a new replacement Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion.

In 2018 the Scottish Government approved an Initial Agreement for a replacement eye hospital and NHS Lothian prepared an Outline Business Case for the project.

In December last year NHS Lothian announced that they had received a formal response from SNP Ministers that they were withdrawing £45 million of funding for a replacement eye hospital.

Miles Briggs MSP believes that a replacement for the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion is vital for delivering top quality eye treatments in NHS Lothian. The alternative option of distributing services across NHS Lothian is not considered to be in the best interests of patients.

Lothian MSP, Miles Briggs, has called on the First Minister to restore funding for a replacement of the 50 year old Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion hospital. His motion in the Scottish Parliament received cross-party support.

Thank you for your support,

Miles
