Councillor Jo Mowat's City Centre Parking Survey

JO City Centre parking

Residents in Zone 6 have been contacting Jo about parking problems in their area. Those streets nearest to later opening city centre attractions such as the Playhouse and St James Quarter are reporting that finding parking in the evening is getting more difficult. The Council has a programme to look at where new parking zones are needed and Jo has asked that current zones are also looked at to check whether their hours are still working for residents. There is not yet a timescale in place for this work, so if Jo needs to take further action she’d like to hear from you about your experience of parking.

*Zones 5 - 8  hours of operation: 0830 – 1730 Monday to Friday

Zones 1 – 4 – hours of operation: 0830 – 1830 Monday to Saturday 1230 – 1830 Sunday.
