£19 million to transform Hackney Central  (Levelling Up Fund 2)

Over £19 million from the Levelling Up Fund has been awarded to Hackney Council to regenerate its town centre.

£20 million support for Southampton’s Outdoor Sports Centre (Levelling Up Fund 2)

Southampton was allocated £20 million from the Levelling Up Fund for improvements to Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre.

Almost £20 million for housing and transport improvements in Barton (Levelling Up Fund 2)

Almost £20 million from the Levelling Up Fund was awarded to North Lincolnshire Council to revolutionise travel in Barton.

£12 million for town centre improvements in Batley (Levelling Up Fund 2)

Over £12 million from the Levelling Up Fund was awarded to Kirklees Council to regenerate Batley town centre.

Short-term lets rules to protect communities and keep homes available
